Appeartex was founded by the entrepreneur Lars Schönemyr 2003 in collaboration with Chalmers Innovation and has from the start worked closely with its advisory board from the elite of Swedish Academia. We have developed a solution to bacteria-related problems based on a non-leaching, but still highly efficient, universally applicable chemistry.

Our business idea is to offer our technology to companies for use in existing products and create new properties to increase the value for their customers.

Appeartex has in a short time started up collaborations with industrial partners regarding customer applications and manufacturing. The Appeartex technology can be successfully used on many materials and in many applications where you do not want a bacterial contamination. Appeartex has proven very good efficiency in a wide range of customer materials and products.
